Telling Tales provides an engaging selection of PSHE and Citizenship lessons that are structured around a well-known text or poem.
All year groups cover 5 core topics:
- Knowing me
- Staying healthy
- Being with other people
- Living in the community
- Protecting the environment
The Teacher’s Book and Photocopiable Resources Sheets can be used flexibly to teach PSHE and Citizenship in a number of creative ways:
- Discrete lessons
- Circle time
- Subject days
- Home activities
By using popular children’s literature as a basis for exploring issues, this series provides a unique and effective way to deliver the National Curriculum Guidelines for PSHE and the QCA Scheme of Work for Citizenship in your school.
