Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Flash programmer, to join our Software Development team, to create educational activities, tools and applications.
Able to work within a small team, you should have a minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience with Flash/ActionScript, XML and OO programming.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate expertise in:
- ActionScript 2 (with experience of ActionScript 3)
- Object-orientated programming and methodologies in a Flash environment (i.e. use of classes, etc)
- Developing Flash games, activities and applications
- Using XML data in Flash movies
The candidate should ideally be able to demonstrate these desired, but not essential, skills:
- Experience with SQL, PHP and Javascript.
- An ability to work independently, within a small team, within a small office environment (also alongside internal and external development teams, including designers, illustrators and other programmers).
- (Once set up, with Software Development Manager) managing own schedules, and seeing projects of varying sizes from development to completion.
