Here at Smart Learning, we feel it's important to create products that teachers will actually find useful and look forward to using! That's why we involve practising teachers in the development of our resources right from inception. From visiting schools and holding focus groups to using online questionnaires, we can ensure that the resources we create are the resources you really want to use in the classroom.
Introducing Smart English for Key Stage 3
This exciting, new series has been developed following discussion with English teachers about what they'd like to use in the classroom. They requested the following things:
- Themed units of content that will slot straight into an existing scheme of work
- Progression focused lessons (for students aiming for Levels 4 to 8)
- Creative topics that will engage students at Key Stage 3
We're launching Smart English with the following three themes: Survival, Gothic Horror and War & Conflict. Each themed unit consists of:
- A Teacher's Book providing 45 lesson plans across 3 differentiated Level bands (Levels 4 to 8)
- A Student's Book jam-packed with inspiring texts, chosen to motivate students
- A Resource CD-ROM offering PowerPoints and additional resources to support lessons
